Backstage in the First Round

I say to Aamir "Chances are it was covered up. After all, the "fifth expansion" was in part a cover for the repair work."

but you said we were famous

"did he?"

"UltraZ is famous, as the host of the tournament, but we're not actually."

With Aamir seemingly content, I begin to meditate again. "I need to figure this out already...", I mumble to myself.

"WHen does the seond round start?" I asked.

I glance at the lineup board. "There's only one match left... I guess soon. Chances are there'll be a DQ if that match doesn't start soon."

I call to the Z. "Hey! How about starting round 2?"

im up for it lets go

I breathe a sigh of relief. I dislike waiting, really.

I walk out on to the stage. "Listen up, people of The World! There's a slight problem with one of the matches. I'm putting out a time limit on this match! If it doesn't start by then, the absent contestant will be disqualified."

((This time limit is next Monday, the 31st of May...so if he hasn't posted in his battle before June starts, he'll be disqualified.))

I take a deep breath. "As a result of this holdup, we could be waiting a while. However, I won't allow this. You came here for entertainment! As such, we will begin the second round immediately and that contestant can catch up when appropriate."

Just as expected, the crowd begins cheering.

I stroll back inside, shooting a knowing glance to the group.

The last result came in. Suburb had won his match.
