i check my inventry and i pull out my fingerprint finder

"Fingerprints? Not left, takes WAY too much memory. You got scammed."

I look around. "There are none. Sorry."

i put a small cam in the corner incase anyone came back

Using my tracking devices I came back. "Hi," I said. "Have I missed the fight?"

No not yet we need to find some clues

"Indeed we do."

I made some preparations such that we could return to the north when we were ready.

"Listen. For now, we should go west."

thw west it is i say and i mount my board

I too mount my board, and set off to the west. It's a long journey, and I have time to think about the true scale of what I've just learned.

The group has the entire village.

That's...on an unreal scale.

i lay on my bard and shut my eyes untill we arrived
"so what next"

"We need to find out as much as we can...and we can't visit the fourth base. We need them to hold at least one secret. And at the moment, we know nothing of their plan."

I scan the landscape. Ruined buildings lie everywhere ((ofc, this is the ruins)) but there's no sign of a disturbance.

I stroll in. It's an information centre. It looks out of place because it's a whole building, but one is in every area for the new players.

Looking around I can't see anything of real value in the room. I take a ladder up to the roof and perch on the corner of a rock.

I look around the floor, hopping between buildings. I can't see anything here... what am I missing? Then I spot it... a corner of wood. Going down I realise why I overlooked it: it's under a sticking-out piece of rock.

I lift the wood and slide it aside, pulling myself in head-first. Immediately I can tell there are people in here.

I push myself against the wall and begin peeking round corners, moving onwards. I'm looking for a sign of what this place is.

i opend up the screen and gave the remote control to smiley

I whispered "No, it makes too much noise by whirring." and turned it off, handing it back.

I continued looking and searching etc, and as I peeked round yet another corner I nearly bashed my face into another person. I let out a thankfully inaudible gasp, and I pulled my head back. I listened to them talking, ready to dive back into a nearby alcove.

"...data recently."

"Is that so? How is it looking?"

"Apparently triangulation is complete. We found it."

"Oh, really? Where is it?"

"It's...here."

"Oh, in the--"

"But it's not. It's...look at THIS image."

"How is that poss-- ohhhhhhh, I see. So that's how they did it."

"Indeed. I never knew, but it was there all along."

"I'm amazed."

"Well, look you should get back to work. People will be waiting for you."

"Indeed. Thanks for letting me know."

I heard the man walking my way and dived back into an alcove. He strolled past, none the wiser. He was displaying the "PvP Off" icon prominently. I couldn't see his face, though.

((Think of it as an option: if you don't want to be bothered you can put up the icon to alert people you're not in PvP.))

A few seconds later, I shot a glance down the corridor, but he had seemingly vanished.

i saw a computer screen with a document up
it was too far for me to see so i ask smiley for binoculars

"I don't have any, but it looks to me like the program they write logs on. Oh, look. He's just submitted it."

The screen returned to a dull green as soon as the man typing stepped away. It seems that this is what the password must be for... accessing the full log system as opposed to just the last one.

Unfortunately there were too many people there... we couldn't get into the room without being found and then the jig would be up.

I dashed in and typed "info". I took a picture of the screen that came up, without time to read it, then hit escape. I sprinted back out, full speed. "Aamir, let's get the hell out of here!"

i fled out and hid behind a rock
i told smiley to show me the picture

I showed him. The top bit was expected, this was MapRoom.

I then read out the log at the bottom:

"We received the data from Sonar and mapped it up. We've confirmed the location of it. We're not mentioning detail since Sonar Terminal was compromised. But we've uploaded the final map onto the datashare."
